Always had the speedster high in my" favourite cars of all time" list,and love to own one,but am not sure where to start ,what kits are out there , with the costs / quality to consider. And I should I buy a kit or already build one by either a company or private builder .
Most activity from what I've seen so far regarding builders suppliers, and owners seem to be in the U.S , and I wonder if there are other Aussies in this club that could give me advise me on what way to go, especially regarding local laws. and import cost and procedures.
any advise most appreciated!
Probably should have started a new thread with your questions. But in an effort to answer your question about other Aussies on here go to the top of the page in the black header and click on "MEMBERS". Another page will open and in tiny writing you will see "SORT BY NAME" just above the third avatar. Click on that and a drop down box will open. Click on "VIEW AS MAP". When the map opens find your region and see who the members are. You can PM them and see if they are active and ask them what's legal in your area and if anything is available.
We've had other Aussies here and one of them bought a Speedster but couldn't import it due to your region's restrictions. make sure you find out what can be imported and what can't.
