I was thinking of something like that for my seats, too.  I have a pretty substantial seatback frame that I could easily attach something to on the side so what I need is less involved.  The hard part would be matching the vinyl color.  I would be looking for a corresponding rest on the door panel, too, just to balance things off.

If I keep adding stuff like this to a "Speedster", then some day it will become a "Cabriolet"!

I regret that I have only 1 like for that statement, Gordon! Radios, hard tops, air conditioning, towel bars, armrests- a center console with cup holders and places to put your change and you might as well be driving something else.

None of us are getting younger. We like to see ourselves as hard-cases- but mostly, that ship sailed out some time ago.

Towel bars, nice seats, cup-holders, etc. are all pretty nice.

You're right, but I am holding on as best I can. Most aspects of my life are pretty comfortable. I guess part of the reason for having the car is to hold myself up against it's spartan accommodations and remind me of my past.

Yup. I used to flog myself as punishment for my iniquities then I bought my car and realized that is punishment enough and threw the flogger away.
