A couple of months ago, I installed some brake lights behind the grills.

I was going to go the LED route, but I decided to go the budget route. They're cheap, use the same bulb as my current brake lights, and they're big. I also glued a small round mirror inside the housing behind the bulb. It couldn't hurt.

First was the bracket.Brake bracket 1Brake bracket 2

Installed using SS hose clamps. Of course, after I made the bracket, I came up with a better attachment idea. Oh well

Test.

Wow! Well done. It was one of the first things I did when I got mine last October. My friend and fellow SOC'er Syl M. helped/made a metal bracket for an LED strip I picked up. It's attached to the underside of the grill using the same screws to hold the gills in place.

We bent it around the two grills and painted it flat black and with the LED strip clear plastic it's very hard to see it  unless you really look hard. Not as bright as yours perhaps but I think it helps.
