No pictures, but I have ordered 4-5.5" painted wide fives from CIP1.com. $70 each, free shipping.

These are for some new tires for autocrossing and track duty. I have consulted with Carey Hines and others and after re-centering the fronts, I should be good to go. I will have a bit wider turning radius with the wider fronts, but, like I said, only for track duty.

I will be re-centering these fronts as well, as I already did that once, and so far that has worked out OK.

Then I think I'll be getting some Toyo Proxes R888 in 205/50 R 15, treadwear 100, track use only tires. These are about an inch or an inch and a half shorter, so actually shorten the final drive a little(better acceleration?). But STICKY, which is what I need. Street tires are sliding around too much, especially when running E-mod against others with slicks......

Carlos, my current wheels are 4.5" in the front. I installed Airkewld brakes, which are about 3/4" to 1" wider than what I had. So I moved the wheel centers OUT as far as they can go, and I still need a little more, like 1/4" to prevent front fender top rubbing. There is a wheel bearing spacer that will be removed this winter, after I fabricate some NEW caliper brackets that mount on the back of the spindle.

Like Gilda said, "if it's not one thing, it's another" LOL!
