1959 Speedsters are all GT's. So it's not a GS as stated. 32 of these have the four-cam Carrera engine as all other GT Speedsters have BUT, a few of these last GT Speedsters did get a regular pushrod engine. There was a series of four (although one source swears to have seen five when they were delivered) silver special order pushrod GT Speedsters delivered at the Block dealership. There were three more individual special orders for "respected customers" and the car which is mentioned is one of those. These special non-Carrera 1959 Speedster GT's are almost as valuable as the Carrera GT's. Most of the 1959 Carrera and pushrod GT Speedsters can be found on the 1959 page of the inventory on my website.
