Reply to "1915cc carburetor set up"

Hello everyone,

Finally got my engine in the car and my new Vintage Speed exhaust hooked up. My 32 vents are on back order so I put my 28’s in. I went to start it and had a heck of a time to get it to even run. Well to make a long story short my Petronix distributor ignition failed and my alternator light is dim when running but I will deal with that later. So I changed my distributor with a vacuum advance one and she fired right up! So I started to adjust the carbs using DannyP guide. I’m idling good at 900rpm but I can rev it up. It’s hesitating and backfiring 1500rpm and up. I’m stumped?

28 vents, 55 idles, F11, 185 air, 115 mains.
idle adjustment screw 1 turn out on all 4

Timing 28 advance@3000rpm

Fuel pressure 2.5 lbs (mechanical pump)
