It's a rough one but doable, I've been down the project path a few times. Inspect: Chassis , Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & tires . Body, Electrical, Windshield assembly, Gauges , Interior, Top , Tonneau cover, Side curtains . Trans.. who knows and the motor has the worst fan shroud ( cooling wise) one could put on an aircooled engine, . A project like that has so many unknows you need to figure the worst case financial scenerio . Type of title is important too . Surely it will need a complete tear down to where to bare body sets on the bare chassis and start from square one as safety is first and reliability second. IMHO you would need to but it right to make it a worthwhile project , what that said, In addition to whatever you pay for it allow another $10,000 to $12,000 to complete the restoration.
