Or........ You can do what many, many of your fellow Canadians did in the past when they found that the heat in their little VW Beetle wasn't exactly "robust".....

Just be on the lookout for a decent Eberspacher BN2 heater, restore it and install it in the car. Doesn't matter if it's a Speedster, Roadster, 356 coupe or Spyder (with top and windows, of course). It'll give you more than enough heat to make it comfortable in there and extend your driving year a bit longer until the salt appears late Fall and then disappears in, what...... July or so? rolleyes
