Reply to "best rubber protector?"

When I read the title the first thing I thought of was, "the foil pack it came in". But I see that wasn't the right question.

I'm not sure if there is anything that works all that well. My car is stored inside and the rubber bits around the tail lights are cracked and they weren't that way when I got the car 5 years ago.

I'll be watching this to see if anyone has had success. Maybe @arajani will make a suggestion. He is quite fastidious when it comes to detailing his cars and using the products that work best.
