One way to check for the problem I spoke of is to disconnect the linkage altogether and use both hands to rev the carbs, seeing where it returns to. Once it’s settlrd on a speed, then press on each throttle, um, thingie to see if you can lower the idle a bit. If that works, at least one carb is binding.
