Good thought, Jim and you are right---I've never seen anything more than some dark grey goo on the bottom plate that holds the screen in. I do have an oil filter I change with every oil change. I guess I'm sort of anal about mt Speedster and that's all I can come up with. Certainly food for thought ---thanks for your comment.
