Slowshoes---you are so right about the wealth of info here and willingness of the kind folks here to share their knowledge with the mechanically challenged---like me. I have really enjoyed my VS for 13 years thanks to the help I have rec'd here.

You would be smart to get a copy of the book "How to keep your Volkswqgen Alive" by John Muir---great info and simple to understand trouble shooting and procedures.
