We may (or may not) have considered this at one time here in the People's Republic, but saner heads prevailed and we went a different direction. Pity that.

Not that I've thought about it or anything... but if I gave a Type 1 a NOS shot, I'm pretty sure I'd keep as much as possible analog. I'd do digital spark for sure (with some spark retard when on the bottle) - but there's just too many layers of complexity for me with N2O to even think about EFI. Old dog an all that.

But I've always thought a nice, stout T4, twin-plugged, dry-sumped with a mildish (82b or the like) cam and a 50 or 100 shot spray down the 48s would be pretty freaking impressive. It would also need H2O injection for sure - you'd probably trigger that with the spark retard.

My problem would be keeping my thumb off the button.
