Yup, had a tranny temp gauge on my F250 diesel. Watched it occasionally for the first year, then discovered that it never moved much and that my turbo boost gauge was more fun to watch (“Can I find a really long Interstate uphill to get the boost past 25 pounds with my foot in it?”)

It never hurts to have gauges on stuff to let you know what’s really going on.

Or to watch closely when you get bored on a long trip.

I should have had activity gauges on our two Jack Russells"………
