I made a bracket from a piece of aluminum angle and attached a spring from a D-cell Maglight. I got the spring on eBay. I got the rubber piece on top from the hardware store. I tried a couple different heights for the rubber thing.

The spring has a small diameter loop on the bottom the flat head bolt with washer go through.
