I replaced the classic CMC gas tank with a 356 model,

The 356 tank is too high and you cannot close the hood if directly mounted,

it's not the easiest modification, but I cut the trunk partition and made a custom metal sheet to lower and move the tank back,

I added the fixing straps

on thus picture we can see the tank filter in the passenger compartiment, as a real 356
