Reply to "Flat towing a Speedster behind a motorhome with towbar - Advice?"

I didn't do it with a motorhome. But I did flat-tow for years with various cars.

I ran a wire through the car, and put a connector under the beam. I simply added a 3 or 4 foot extension to the tow vehicle and used the existing taillights. I believe you're supposed to put a "car in tow" sign on the vehicle. I used blue masking tape and Sharpie.

Other than making sure you're in neutral, E-brake off, and having a safety chain from the beam to the tow vehicle, it's pretty easy.

The only real tip you'll need: DON'T EVER BACK UP! That's it.

And I'm guessing some other method of attachment will be needed other than magnets for that remote lighting system....
