Reply to "Fog"

I know you're showing regular (outside) fog, but another problem that we have is fogging on the inside of the windshield, too.  I have found that "Fog-X" (if you can find it) doesn't seem to be all that effective, especially if the outside fog turns to rain (see your other post).

What does work really well is a chamois de-fogger sponge.  Lots of outdoor places sell them, like Eddie Bauer and Duluth Traders:

If you can't find one you can make one.  Buy a nice, soft chamois cloth (real leather, not the artificial stuff) for drying your car at NAPA or even Walmart, wrap it around a synthetic sponge and sew the sides.  That's it.

To use, just slowly wipe it across the windshield on the inside.  If it gets too wet and streaks, squeeze out the excess water and re-use it.

By that time your carpets will probably be soaked from incoming water so you can just squeeze it out on the floor.....
