Gear boxes / transmission suggestions

hi guys,

For the past few months I've been amassing the parts I need to get my Chesil build rolling (less engine). I'm almost at the stage where I need to think about gearboxes (or transmissions as you Americans call them!) and I'd be grateful for your input.

In terms of engine, I'm looking to put in a 1776 cc with between 80-100 bhp (dependent on the final set up). I won't be doing huge numbers of miles in the car and the driving will mostly be on more windy roads, but I don't want it to be too uncomfortable on the motorway at between 60-70.

I so far can't decide between these options:

Rancho final drive 3.874:

and the more expensive 'Freeway Flyer' model (3.875):

I know some of you guys have the Freeway Flyer model but would be interested to hear whether it's worth the extra money.
