Von Bach was a DC Comic Book character that was defeated by Superman, the Von Bach dam near the Tugeni Resort, it's a campsite in Namibia, Gib von Bach was a cinematographer, Baron Alexander von Bach was an Australian politician, but the most likely reference for this use of the von Bach name is Von Bach Industries which manufactures a third person shooter game.
