That particular motor is not a good candidate for a turbo. It has extremely high compression and is a flex fuel motor that will run gas, alcohol, E85, etc... You Can turbo them, but you have to use a combo of thicker head gaskets to drop CR and ideally custom JE (or similar) pistons.

Feel free to contact me regarding a new build, and I'd also be happy to put you in touch with existing UK clients so you know what you are getting into in terms of passing registration and MOT. The days of an old US title passing as an "old timer" are long gone... and the process is quite complex. That said, you may consider a used one already in the UK. I have sent many of our cars to the UK over the years and they do pop up on the used market from time to time.
