I am also looking at bringing one to the UK, as well as a newbie to this forum and am happy to share my thoughts.

After my research for many months, I have recently specified a Subaru powered 550 Spyder with Seduction Motorsports, I recommend you have a read of their website. Daniel has been very helpful.
