My merged header was cut back to a 2" diameter, which feeds into a 2" diameter pipe, which feeds into a Magnaflow, with a 2 1/4" diameter. I'm not sure if the larger pipe has had a negative affect on the performance. Mid-range punch is very good with the 44 IDFs and should be as good once I get my 44 DCNFs on. Still running a stock 009, with points, but plan to install one of John's Mallory distributors and an Aurora box. This may perk up the power even more.
