If the linings haven’t gotten too wet with transaxle fluid they can still work if you clean them up and the drum thoroughly with brake cleaner spray.  I had to do that when I swapped my left rear axle seal the last time. I remember I would shudder at the thought of doing these but the Torque Multiplier makes it a whole lot easier.
