Jimmy...just for laughs I'll submit this one "triple" photo of my only Corvair conversion mating a VW bus mountain gearbox onto the Vair. Oddly enough the bolt pattern was a dead match except for two locations that needed only slight modification. The idea was conceived by Bud Rinker and it was not a good one. I flew this for 36 hours before failure. Straight over to Lycoming after that.
