I may just make it. If I leave by Monterey by 8am, and make no stops, it's possible to make it to Pier 46 Seafood by 1:30pm. Of course I'm going to take pictures, so I'll just have to leave earlier.

BTW, I forgot how sparse gas stations are in Big Sur. Going to have to plan carefully.
