I emailed Cool Rydes about 5 days ago to confirm that its their chassis and I have yet to hear from them.

The challenge with Kitman is that I can't find many people to say good things about their tube chassis. Plus the pictures they post are a bit on the generic/older side (pretty sure I have seen them around the web for a while). So I wouldn't call them eliminated but for the price they want - by far the most expensive option out there - I'd expect clearer/recent pictures from them.
As for Mendeola, I do intend to put a decent engine in this car, if not a Type 4. I also enjoy long road trips so I think Mendeola provides better opportunity for that than most other setups I've seen. My intent is to go with their suspension and brake package. However, I have yet to hear from them from my inquiry last week and that is not encouraging.
@coolryde Any advice to offer for @RobertCalifornia? He's looking for a chassis.
