Remote Oil Filter Idea

Hey all, I just bought a couple of oil filters for one of my motorcycles from Perf-Form and when they came they had a flyer for a new product-a remote filter cannister for HD bikes.

It got me thinking: this might be just the thing to combine with a CB oil pump to add a little filtering. I have a 2L motor and with the Thing shroud I installed last year I don't really need any extra cooling, more capacity never hurt (although this would probably only add about a half liter, tops) and I like the style. Much prefer this to having a fram disfiguring my engine bay. Also, I'll admit I've swallowed Perf-Form's Kool-Aid about their cellulose media vs paper. I'll just need to get some questions answered about relief valves and thermostats.

Anyone got anything to add? Pros/Cons wrt this type of oil filter, etc? Input on thermostats?
