Roll bar Mounting on a CMC flareside

I have seen the manual for mounting the roll bar inside the CMC flareside . It appears that the front vertical bars are mounted on the seat edge. Is there any steel structure beneath the seat edge? Has anyone mounted the roll bar to the floor instead? In looks like if you mounted the roll bar to the floor and the angled rear portions to the rear chassis this would strengthen the chassis up a bit. Any suggestions?
