Reply to "Shifting Problems"

Scott.....This does sound like your clutch is dragging.....As I do not know what "Brand" your Spyder is, I will assume it is a Beck....

Under the spare tire, on the passenger side of the trans mission, you will find your clutch cable....There should be a Wing Nut on a threaded end attached to a bell crank assembley.....Try turning the wing nut clock wise as you view the end of the cable...Make only two (2) turns at a time, and then test the results....Also check visualy the visible length of the cable for damage.....Any broken strands of wire indicates a problem, and a new cable will be required to properly repair the car....

Hope this helps....
