This is a kit for a wide body speedster kit that was never assembled. I bought it from the 2nd owner who had good intentions but never really worked on it. The same holds for me and I have lost interest. I was going to work on this project with my son, who now is away at college and other interests.
The fiberglass body is in relatively good shape with no cracks to speak of but there are a few chips. It is primered gray, though it was it seems, originally yellow. I don’t know which kit this is, but have been told it may be an intermechanica?
The body sits unattached to a 1971 VW frame that has been shortened. It has set outside for a long time and would have to be gone over real well in order to use. 2 tires won't hold air now. VIN # is 1422490713 and VIN plate on tunnel removed when free shortened. I was planning on getting a more workable VW car and install on it. That way I could use the donor car title. There is no title with this kit. The frame has only the transaxle, wheels, and no engine. The parts list is as I have said and the pic shows: the top and bows, windshield frame, headlights (one of glass broke), tailights, bumpers, doorhandles gauges, miscellaneous grilles, fuel tank and sender for gage, windshield wiper motor, rear view mirror. All parts are uncertain as to condition and would have to be checked out. $3800.
