Personally, I’m ambivalent to whether someone uses all VW-style knobs (Same shape as the silver knobs just above) or the Porsche-style Mushroom jobbies, but neither ones should be billet silver. No, No, No.......
I happen to have VW style stuff for a simple reason over the Porsche style: I like them!
Worse than billet knobs to me are those reproduction instruments with black faces. (no jokes, pls).

I have spent stupid money on my Speedster but if I ever spend almost $600 on knobs someone please shoot me.

They aren't even attractive IMHO.
