@Benjamin one more thing to consider to help ensure a bit of headroom with the top up, have the pan modified to allow the seats to sit about an inch lower than normal. That also gives you a bit more room under the steering wheel, and helps keep your eyes below the windshield frame. If you normally slouch when sitting, you may not want to do this, but if you sit tall it may help.
