That’s a great method, I’ve been using it for years. But the article doesn’t tell you how to do it.

Lean all the way to your left and adjust the driver’s side mirror so the left corner of the car is just out of sight. Then lean all the way right and adjust so the right side is just out of view. Now adjust the interior mirror so the left side of the mirror points straight behind you.
