I used to put the car on jackstands to prevent the tires from flattening out during extended storage periods. I would also put Sta-bil with a full tank of gas to prevent corrosion in the tank. I would disconnect the battery and hook it up to a trickle charger. And lastly; cover it up. These things used to work for me.
