Suby 6sp can be done except with it being backwards and the tranny having no acceleration baffles they usually overrfill the unit to prevent oil starvation and they vent the unit for frothing and pressure build up.

the nose cone has fifth and then the 6th so that is why the tranny gets even longer.

FYI you can also use a cable shifter
