Carlos, I've been doing a little research. I've come across this:

It can be shortened to whatever we need, the lever arms can be bent/cut/lightened. I also like that it's 3/4" solid, so should be similar to what's in there now. Another bonus, we could drill multiple downlink spots and make it adjustable.
