I'm not sure why you think that, but it is a JPS and they did sell Super Widebodies. JPS doesn't actually have the molds for any bodies they bought their bodies from Kirk when he owned Vintage Speedsters. Now days, John buys his bodies from Greg Leach and the other guy at JPS (can't remember his name) buys his bodies from Brazil.

Also, take a look at the dash. Speedometer on the right where JPS puts them and the dash material goes all the way to the edge of the dash rather than stopping a couple of inches from the edge of the dash like on a Vintage car.
