Reply to "Vintage Speedsters"

I give thumbs up to Troy and/or Greg. I started looking for a Speedster two years ago. This forum was a great help. Twenty-two months ago I bought a Vintage Speedster (one of Kirk's older builds from the late 90's) from Greg (Vintage Motorcars). You are getting sage advice here. Hope you find what you want. I searched for two months and found one with the help of some members on this forum. I've met John (JPS) and toured his shop since they are a ten minute drive from the coast here in S. Cal. I've met one person who bought a coupe from John and he drove the heck out of it for at least a week here in S. Cal during the shake out process. That shake our run was documented here on this forum. He is happy and the coupe is nice. I know a VW shop a few minutes from JPS and they can look at your motor (assuming John is going to install an air-cooled power plant) and they know a few things about building VW drag racing engines too. Just don't expect them to drive it around for a few weeks, but I would

Hope you get what you are looking for!
