Quarter tonneau from Vintage Speedsters - Arizona!
Months ago we ordered a tan quarter tonneau from Vintage Speedsters - Arizona. It was offered to us for USD 250 + shipping to Switzerland for USD 99! We wired USD 349 and after a while we received a tan quarter tonneau wich was very, very cheap produced! The seewings were very cheap manufactued - see attached pictures!
we contacted Vintages Speedsters Arizona about this case and they couldnt understand our reaction, actually original text:
"The stitching in the picture below is of the underside, which is never seen. Not sure why that is an issue. Never the less, I can refund once item is sent back (there is a %15 restocking fee)."
We returned the quarter tonneau on AUGUST 22 - 2018 by swiss post and Vintage Speedsters Arizona confirmed the entry of tonneau on SEPTEMBER 25 - 2018 ( over 1 month!!!). Vintage Speedsters Arizona confirmed on September 25th to return the money and until today OCTOBER 8th - NO MONEY ARRIVED!
By the way: We ordered another quarter tonneau from Vintage Motorcars - California (Greg and co) and we paid USD 135 and shipping was USD 45 - and finally we received a nice, good-seewed quarter tonneau wich we were able to overgive to our customer - see 2 pics attached!
We worked for a long, long time with Vintage Speedsters of California and kirk always understood what we needed as dealers/cutomers.... we think Vintage Speedsters of Arizona didnt understand the spirit of the 356 Speedsters!
And regarding the business: to refund the money is much, much overdue!
