I, too, have had issues with VS now that they are in Arizona. Very long story, but I bought a few things late last year right after the move and I was VERY pleased. I made another order in the Spring of this year and not only did it take MUCH MUCH longer to arrive than promised, but it was incomplete and partially wrong. In the end I received an envelope with a few gaskets that appear to be from Sierra Madre. I only think this because I was told the gaskets had to be ordered as VS said they didn’t have any in stock. I ordered a set from Sierra Madre and got them in a few days. I later received the ones from VS. I’m pretty sure they are the same ones; but WITHOUT a VS markup.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kirk and Mary in SLO. I also met Greg, who took over their operation. Without a doubt, I will buying from him from now on.
I havent said anything on this site until now, but it seems I’m not the only one who is displeased.
I learned my lesson.
