Geesh, you IM guys can be downright snobs sometimes.

Kirk used to buy bodies in bulk and stack them up out back, awaiting orders.

I doubt that this was a formal 'curing' process, but at least some probably sat there for months before the painstaking two-week build process began. So, by design or not, there was maybe a fifty-fifty chance that any given body might be seasoned a bit.

And then, owing to the speed of the Mexican transport industry, each body could have been in transit another month or two before it reached the famous racks of Hawaiian Gardens.

At any rate, five years down the road, mine seems to have not much more waviness than when it was new.

Did i say 'waviness'? I meant patina.
