I’ve had silver cars for 20 years. I really like everything about them... except color-matching a repair.

A truly good high-end insurance shop can do a good color-match more times than not... but nobody can do it every single time, which means a complete respray for tiny stuff like rock chips. I’m scheduled for just such a respray for just such a reason, and am having a super hard time wanting to because the car doesn’t look that bad.

Still... there’s no other way to be 100% sure with silver.
