Cliff, had exactly the same issue when we put a Setrab in the wheel well of my VS.

Moved the filter further aft by a few inches and there was then room for the cooler.

Tony ended up using a Setrab filter holder, because it gave more options for how we could route the oil lines. And mounting the filter horizontally (a little messier at oil change time) also freed up some more space (the filter could be mounted lower).

I think the holder we used was this .

Note that this filter holder is not a 'sandwich' holder (that lets you bypass the cooler for quicker oil warmup). Setrab does have those, too, though.
