I don’t know about that. Personally. I’d go with “smart money.” From my informal poll (driving and C&C) New Money around here goes for Kirkham Cobras, C8’s, Lambos, McLarens, Audi R8’s, and more C8s.

It’s strange. C&C in Las Vegas was 80/20 vintage to new cars. Here, it’s just the opposite. Last time out, besides my 968 and my buddy’s 911 RSR tribute, there were two sweet 510 wagon restomods. The rest of the ~200 cars were all modern. There were 8-10 C8s. And 10 Huracans and Murcialagos. (Sp?) And about the same number of Lotuses.

You raise a good point - and an astute perspective: "smart money".  In the past couple years, in the area I live, there are lots of C8s' Lambos R8s and Ferraris... I'm always scrambling to get up close to one... and when I do.. they each give me the thumbs up and 'nice car' comments before I can say a word.

I bought my toy to stand out. .. and it really does.  Anybody with money can buy an exotic.  Someone with taste buys a unique classic.
