Reply to "Wipers"

Kevin, would you mind sharing a closeup of installation? Blade up and down?

So I completely ignored your request Ryan. For two reasons. One, @*LongFella had photos above. (And, frankly, between my work and his, I’d go with his all day).

The second reason was, given the bar this group has created, I was embarrassed to show close ups. When I painted my VW wiper arms and blades, I removed the cone grommets and painted them the same silver. When I was attempting to remove the VW wiper arms last week, I chipped the paint on the cone grommet. Therefore I waited until the new cone grommets arrived before I snapped photos.

I did take the Speedster up to Napa today, and the wiper arms did not come loose at 80mph.

***PLEASE NOTE, and this is huge*****

for all those going from VW wiper arms to original style wiper arms please be careful the first time you open your frunk. The original style wiper arms stick out further than the VW ones. You will hit them.
