I suppose that the bright spot in this story (at least for my kids) is that they both got good jobs in their respective fields after graduation (Graphic Arts and Technology and IT Management) and are both doing quite well and seem to be pretty happy.

I paid for everything for their college bills with an American Express Card that got at least double mileage points back then, so my wife and I traveled free after that for quite a while. cool
