In my well-deserved support of Troy and his builds, it is a very little-known fact that "Pearl" was delivered as a Black gel-coat CMC body. I chose the burgundy interior to set off both the interior and exterior. Both looked great and black on my car was my first love, but then, there are a LOT of black 356's in this neck of the woods.
Then......The guy in the office next to me arrived in his brand-spankin-new Audi A4 in Pearlescent White. They only carried that color for four years or so, making it pretty rare, even in Audi world. All it took was one look and I was hooked (Thanks, Doug!) and the rest is history. Fortunately, the burgundy interior pops in a white car, too.
And lest we all forget Angela and her 550-6 in, what else? Basic Black. I honestly don't know if she still owns it or not, but whomever is driving it is having a blast!
