I'd really like to hear some of you in more detail about your experiences or analyses of BaT. I've been following the auctions there for several years (paying particular attention to fake Spyders--wink wink) and have not noticed anything amiss. To me, so far, it looks like the cars sell for good money, buyers occasionally get sweet deals (as with an older Beck last week that went under $30k), but in general the market seems to be similar on BaT to what it is elsewhere.
I also know a little bit about various '60s muscle cars and LBCs and my observations of those auctions have not left me thinking anything was amiss.
Those who think they fix auctions, or put their thumbs on the scale—how? Or, anyway, what did you observe to give you that impression?
