Before I took anything apart I would go get some of the non-oxygenated fuel, drain the fuel tank, run the motor until the car dies, add the non-oxygenated fuel and drive it duplicating the previous drive to see if the fuel type is the problem.

After that, then I'd start looking elsewhere for the problem.
